The problem of pulmonary hypertension: the metanalysis of clinical trials

The article deals with the clinical research in the field of pulmonary hypertension of the latest five years. It has been noticed that the most important role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension is played by in situ thrombosis, intimal and adventitial proliferation and smooth muscle hypertrophy. The latest researches and achievements have been analysed in the field of medical treatment. Prostacyclin analogues, nitric oxide, calcium channel blockers and endothelin-1 receptor blockers are the most essential medicine decreasing pulmonary arterial pressure.
